Feature Request: Metadata block in CommonMark?

Hi there,

Is there #WIP to put in standards metadata’s block, which I so common see as :

---
key1: value 1
key2: value 2
---

and sometimes (with creepy psycho :smile: ):

---
key1: value 1
key2: value 2
...

Usually you put things like :

---
title: title of this article
authors: 
  - john doe
  - jane doe
date: 2023-09-04
abstract: |
  Description of an article
---

This is VERY VERY usefull for articles, notes and every MD documents, it allow you to get metadata.

And when validating with commonmark, you can’t use it.
