Caret is a Markdown editor that combines the aesthetics of prose editors with the productivity features of code editors - features like syntax assistance, multiple cursors, file manager, etc. It’s something that I’ve been working on for almost 2 years and it’s based on a Markdown algorithm that I wrote a while back and open-sourced at https://github.com/erusev/parsedown.
It supports live preview and PDF export, both of which are CommonMark compliant.
