though i learned to use a typewriter in high school, i lost that skill and needed about ten years to reacquire it. along the way, i learned how to use Unix, C, and vi (in that order).

i used carriage returns to break lines in email messages (empty lines separated paragraphs), so it’s not surprising that Markdown is one of my favorite languages. scripto, ergo sum.
