Hi there,

Is there #WIP to put in standards metadata’s block, which I so common see as :

```auto
---
key1: value 1
key2: value 2
---
```

and sometimes (with creepy psycho 😄 ):

```auto
---
key1: value 1
key2: value 2
...
```

Usually you put things like :

```auto
---
title: title of this article
authors:
  - john doe
  - jane doe
date: 2023-09-04
abstract: |
  Description of an article
---
```

This is VERY VERY usefull for articles, notes and every MD documents, it allow you to get metadata.

And when validating with commonmark, you can’t use it.

Thanks for your attention,

Regards,

Well, if you can get a list of core features that needs to be kept, then that can be a start (And maybe we can forward that to either YAML or diet-YAML team. A good yardstick could perhaps be if it can convert from/to json/json5 at the least (if I remember json is not very large of a specification). Alternative proposed name for this stripped down YAML: cYAML - Co…
